Gurmit Singh - Cast as Lim Teng Zui   

Singapore's very own Robin Williams, Gurmit Singh is a beloved personality to people from all walks of life. His versatility and multi-faceted talents as a comedian, host, singer, actor makes him a hit with the audience wherever he goes.

Helming the award-winning sitcom PCK Pte Ltd as Phua Chu Kang, Gurmit has entered the public's consciousness with his endearing portrayal of an uncouth, straight-talking blue-collar worker. One of the most popular programmes in Malaysia, an estimated audience of 8 million viewers watches PCK! Along with the public's support also came numerous awards at the Asian Television Awards for the production and Gurmit himself honoured as the Asia's Comedy King for four consecutive years (1998-2001).

Best known as a comedian, Gurmit revealed his dramatic flair when he portrayed a guilt-stricken disciplinarian father when his son disappears in Shiver, a science-fiction series. As a host, Gurmit has done it all, captivating masses with his charisma and talents. Well regarded as the numero uno in his field, Gurmit hosted his own talkshow interviewing international celebrities. He is also a regular host at the Singapore National Day, President's Star Charity & Miss Singapore Universe. His silver screen debut in 2001 with director Eric Khoo (of 'The 12 Storeys' fame) in One Leg Kicking sees Gurmit playing the lead role of Tai Po, an underdog who finally succeeds in pursuing his dream of becoming a soccer star.
