Story Synopsis

As the saying goes – Love is all around. In this cosmopolitan city where career minded people are focused only on pursuing goals, searching for true love is never easy, despite the conventional mindsets that men and women of marriageable age should get together.

Peng and Hui have been yearning for the taste of love for many years since they have reached the marriageable age . Having to have come from different backgrounds, both of them have experienced extremely different “love encounters” – Peng has been swerving amidst different types of women for half of his life but none of those whom he has met have their eyes for him. On the other hand, Hui acquainted countless men from all walks of life but was unable to force herself to accept any of their love as none of them fitted her bill.

Would Peng and Hui find the love of their life when they meet?

The story begins with Peng, the typical “Ah Beng” truck driver who has totally no qualification and establishment, fell madly in love with Hui, a career-minded woman whom has always looked down upon him. His love for Hui was boundless and he was willing to make any sacrifices for her, even without her knowledge.

Alas, fate played an unbelievable joke on Peng when Feng, a talented, charming , gorgeous man aka “ the eligible bachelor ” rivalled against him for Hui’s love and attention, diminishing Peng’s odds of winning Hui’s heart to nil.

But life is never predictable . Feng who appeared to be a trustworthy gentleman was in fact a love-swindler by profession. Not only did he make Hui fell so deeply in love with him, he even wiped out Hui’s hard earn savings to the last crumb. Meanwhile, Hui remained oblivious of Feng’s lies and held on to believe that he was the man of her life.
