这是本地第一部以老人院为故事背景的电视剧，由综艺阿哥阿姐王禄江、鐘琴主演。本剧以“佛跳墙”这道美味食品形容老人院，借满怀理想的“古龙水”鼓励老人家追求年轻时无法实现的梦想。

内容简介：
 一名爱情与事业皆失败的编剧被电视台解雇之后，误打误撞进入了“佛跳墙老人院”当打杂，把老人院原本循规蹈矩、一成不变的生活搞得天翻地覆…

创作概念：
老人院是众多人士未来的“第二个家”。大家都知道第二个家的存在，但很少人知道里头的真实情况。本片以老人院为背景，以幽默的笔触和滑稽的情节，透过主角古龙水以及五名性格鲜明的长老，探讨老年人的价值，同时也让观众更加认识第二个家的真实世界。

片中的老人院象征着一种制度，一国政府。充满生命力与创造力的古龙水进入了这个制度，企图挑战甚至改变这个制度，但一个人的力量毕竟是单薄的，古龙水最终必须集合众长老的力量，才能改变他们的思想与生活，让他们活得更加精彩。

老人院 =" 佛跳墙 " ？
" 佛跳墙 " 集山珍海味之大全，包括鱼刺、海参、鸡肉、蹄筋、干贝、香菇、鲍鱼、笋尖、鸽蛋等原料煨制而成。有趣的是，佛跳墙可以说是一锅精品，精致美味，但你也可以说它是一锅杂品，杂而不精。

以这个对比来比喻老人院最适当不过。你可以说老人院聚集了一堆对社会已毫无贡献的“杂品”，但你也可以说里头的长老们个个都是曾经为社会有所付出的精品。这就是老人院，这就是佛跳墙。

The very first local series set in an old folks' home will have you grabbing your sides in chuckles! Stars Bryan Wong, Kym Ng, Marcus Chin, Henry Thia, Li Wenhai, Tang Hu, Henry Heng.

Cologne (Bryan Wong), a washed-up and out-of-love scriptwriter ends up at a home for the elderly as a caretaker/janitor. He unwittingly turns the place inside out, and transforms everyone’s life in the process. He encourages the old folks to relive and pursue their dreams, turning the austere and oppressive home into a vibrant and colourful place. In return, the old folks work together to help Cologne realize his dream.

Follow the misadventures of Cologne and five colourful denizens of the home - Xiao Bai Long (Marcus Chin), Han Lao Shi (Li Wenhai), Xiao Ming (Henry Thia), Tian Cai (Tang Hu) and Ge Ge (Henry Heng). Along the way, he antagonizes, but is also attracted to the young and beautiful Miss Lim (Kym Ng), the director of the home who administers a strict set of regulations.
